OrthoVet, LLC was founded in 1997 to provide solutions for the safe and effective rehabilitation of soft tissue and bone injuries in companion animals.(small animals)  The company specializes in the design, manufacture and marketing of splinting products that address the rehabilitation of the lower leg, ankle and foot injuries of companion animals.

The company was founded through a collaborative effort between Veterinary and Orthotic/Prosthetic (O&P) professionals.  Utilizing their O&P skill and experience in the human application of bracing and splinting, combined with their veterinary experience and understanding, the founders developed a line of splints that would decrease the recovery time of injured animals and aid in improving their quality of life.

The company’s products have evolved and improved during the ensuing years based upon the further experience gained in manufacturing and marketing products for the veterinary market.  Currently, the company is the only manufacturer to produce splinting products that are pre-fabricated and can be stocked in the veterinary clinic.
